A portal created to unify the internal processes of CNC and simplify the path to efficiency and collaboration.

Context

The We Plus emerged from the need to unify and make CNC's internal processes accessible, promoting transparency and autonomy among employees.

Before the platform, the search for processes was decentralized and confusing. Although the intranet also housed some of this content, it was in locations that were difficult for users to perceive and access. Furthermore, each area maintained isolated documents, and the guidance on 'how to do' often depended on the memory or goodwill of older colleagues. This scenario generated rework, slowness, and a lack of clarity regarding responsibilities.

In light of this context, the need arose to develop a unique, intuitive, and collaborative solution capable of centralizing information and facilitating the understanding of internal processes throughout the organization.

Challenge

The main challenge of the project was to make the search for processes simple and fast, allowing any employee to easily find what they needed without relying on verbal instructions or unclear paths. Additionally, the project aimed to promote clarity regarding responsibilities and interfaces between areas, highlighting the interdependence of processes within the organization. Another essential point was to find a way to engage users with light, visual, and educational communication, transforming a technical and sometimes bureaucratic subject into a friendly, intuitive, and approachable experience.

Solution

The solution was to create a centralized and responsive portal that gathers all internal processes of CNC in one place, with intuitive navigation accessible to any employee. We Plus was developed to facilitate access to information through an advanced search that allows filtering processes by responsible area, category, keyword, or process code.

To reduce navigation effort, the homepage presents the Top 5 most accessed processes, highlighting the most relevant content. The environment was also designed to make the theme of “processes” closer and lighter, with a dynamic and human visual communication. Short explanatory videos recorded by employees themselves help clarify procedures in a practical way, while testimonials show how different areas achieved more efficiency and clarity with well-structured processes.

Each process got its own page, containing complete information such as the description, responsible area, overview of the process (VGP), input and output interfaces, performance indicators, tutorial video, and the “Request process” button, which allows direct actions. Additionally, the portal includes a blog section with educational and inspiring content about best practices, management, and process efficiency.

Tasks

  • Workshop with stakeholders to define the naming We Plus, conducted in partnership with my UX partner, Claudia Caroline Calixto, promoting the collective construction of the concept and purpose of the portal.

  • Creation of the logo and visual identity of We Plus, developed to visually translate the concept of simplicity, collaboration, and fluidity proposed by the project.

  • Co-creation of persona and user journey, also in partnership with Calixto, to guide design and content decisions.

  • Creation of the information architecture and navigation flows of the portal.

  • Definition of the visual structure and interactions in Figma, based on the CNC design system.

  • UX Writing applied to the language of the portal, adopting an accessible and close tone.

  • Creation of high-fidelity prototypes.

Results

  • Greater clarity and autonomy for employees to access and understand processes.

  • Effective advanced search, reducing search time and increasing productivity.

  • Testimonials and videos made the topic of “processes” lighter and more engaging, encouraging spontaneous use of the platform.

  • Integration between areas strengthened through the visualization of input and output interfaces.

  • More transparent organizational culture, with standardized processes visible to everyone.
